The Project is working on my BOINC application, but I can not access Project site.

I get the following error


403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Does anyone have any suggestions or a Fix ?

Could you please clarify:
Is this a persistent error?
Or was it a one-time issue and is no longer present?
If the error is persistent, can you test access to the site using another computer?
(Preferably from a different network.)

Right now, database backups are being made once per day. This began on December 3, 2025.
The project code is not currently backed up on a scheduled basis. However, some backups are being made.
We plan to publish the code on Git, but this is not a priority right now.

It literally takes 5 minutes to set up a git repository. Source control should be a priority since it takes practically no time or effort

The access issue is persistent but may be system related as another Windows woks correctly. I will investigate further.

Yes. You're absolutely right.
It's very easy to do once everything is organized.
But when there's a lot of apocrypha, a very careful analysis of all parts (files) of the code is required.
Otherwise, we might miss something.

I think this is unlikely. A 403 error is a valid response from the server. It can be received either directly (for example, due to incorrect file permissions or user access being blocked during the website compilation) or indirectly (via a TLS communication channel) in the case of a man-in-the-middle attack.

The site operates over HTTPS. However, you must understand and remember that an HTTPS session always begins with HTTP. In other words, HTTPS won't work without the HTTP prefix.

When it's enabled, websites within the country become inaccessible to the rest of the world...

The new GPU app seems set at 50 claimed and 100 granted credits, run time doesn't matter, both AMD and Nvidia

The new Linux app grants double what is claimed which is not a lot, so somewhere between under 100 to about 300 for a long runner, very low compared to what the Windows apps get credited with.

At least we have progress and both apps have been released and work.
