Have you tried complaining on the Gerasim boards? I have no control over their backup protocalls, I just upload work and download results.

Sad that after the first crash nothing really changed. For me Gerasim is dead. I hope the Numberfield@home server will be last until the end of the project.
Maybe it's time to search for another Project as a backup if the numberfields@home server dies?

yoyo is at least Gridcoin whitelisted like Numberfields is, and has maintained their whitelisting so there will be much better reliability. The only issue is the whitelisting page indicates they dont have GPU support

I was downloading the results every week or two, so not much was lost. It was the crunchers who lost a ton of credit.

Good to know about yoyo. I will give Gerasim a little more time - they are currently trying to find the root cause of the database crashes and are implementing more frequent backups.

Gerasim's message boards never came back after that last major crash. Not like they were good for anything anyways...just like now.

Maybe stop sending him work until you know he knows what the hell he is doing? I'm not trying to be an arse, but he has proven he SHOULD NOT be running a project.

I like this idea. As long as there will be a GPU app for Windows I would happily support YoYo for this subproject.

Well, the subprojects in Yoyo@home simply don't have GPU apps - yet.

Of course, Eric needs to contact Yoyo for the details but to the best of my knowledge, anything could be integrated as long as the required Apps are supplied plus a proper specification of what are the input and what the output files.

I think I just need to remind everyone of some obvious things that people tend to forget.
1. For several years now, boincstats has been hosted behind Cloudflare.
2. In the country where Gerasim is located, Cloudflare is banned (and all IP addresses associated with it are blocked via DPI based on the "AS"—Autonomous System—if you know what that is).
3. Naturally, the boincstats site itself does not load for us.
4. Of course, this problem could be overcome.
5. Unfortunately, no one at boincstats is interested in doing so (they simply ignore correspondence).
This applies to more than just Gerasim's site/statistics.
For example, an issue with boincstats that had been known since 2018 was only fixed on May 25, 2026.
6. Anyone can always cross-check the data against other sources.
For instance, stats.free-dc.org shows accurate statistics for Gerasim and other sites.
That is simply because, in this case, the people involved understand what they are doing and how to do it.

I believe it is more appropriate to direct any questions regarding incorrect data on boincstats to them directly.

At the moment, the statistics from https://stats.free-dc.org/proj/ger match Gerasim's data almost perfectly.
There is a lag of only about one day.
