I put in a request with IT a couple weeks ago (I dont have the authority to do it myself) and the redirection broke the scheduler, so I had them put it back. It's possible they didn't do it correctly. Either way, it's been this way for years without anyone complaining, so I figure it doesn't hurt to leave it this way.
