Description	You would like to be a member of the team #1@SETI here at this BOINC project, then click at the bottom of this page at 'Join this team'. The team #1@SETI is a BOINC-wide team. Because of this you see here an 'one for all' team description for all BOINC projects. The team #1@SETI was founded at 15 March 2015. We are hardcore SETIzens. :-) The one and only BOINC project of the team #1@SETI is SETI@home. We just calculate project tasks of SETI@home in our BOINC software. If SETI@home have no new project tasks available for download, we let idle or switch off our PCs, or we calculate project tasks of other BOINC projects. As the team name #1@SETI suggests, our goal is to reach and remain at Rank #1 here and here. :-D Your help is needed! Join our team here at SETI@home and together we accomplish this goal! :-) If you would like to reach the highest possible performance of your PC, you should install optimized SETI@home and AstroPulse project applications, developed from the great members of the Lunatics crew. You can download the Lunatics Installer from the crew website here. Or from other websites here or here. If you have questions about the usage of the installer or about how to fine tune the GPU application, you could ask in the SETI@home Number Crunching forum, or we could help you in our #1@SETI team forum. Our #1@SETI team forum is on the SETI@home website. (Just team members can read it and write in it.) English is the preferred language, but we can speak also german. [Englisch ist die bevorzugte Sprache, aber wir koennen auch Deutsch sprechen.] Additional, un-/check in your SETI@home project preferences: This way your BOINC software could get more AstroPulse tasks. For AstroPulse results more Credits (per hour) will be granted (AstroPulse compared to SETI@home). ;-) If you see this team description not at SETI@home but at an other BOINC project, feel free to join the team #1@SETI also here. Change the resource share in your SETI@home project preferences to 1000000: - and at all other BOINC projects to 0. This way BOINC ask for new tasks at your other BOINC projects if SETI@home have no new projects tasks available for download. Here are the currently BOINC projects (with granted Credits) of us: We calculate the 'non CPU intensive' (nci) BOINC project WUProp@Home side by side with SETI@home. The WUProp@Home project application use maximal 1 minute CPU time per day - you will not notice it. So SETI@home won't disturbed.
