What is the peak RAM requirement of each WU of the new CPU app please? On Windows.

Thanks Eric, I look forward to that new GPU app as I really did enjoy running NumberFields again during the Pentathlon. Yours has always been a very well-managed project in my experience

" Either way, credits may be higher than some projects, but should be less than PrimeGrid. That's the happy medium I tried to find."

Still comfortably less than PrimeGrid Eric e.g. for an nvidia gtx1660ti on Linux ...
... PrimeGrid pps-sieve around 1.3M credits per day
... NumberFields GetDecic around 46.5K credits per day

That is 28 times higher and, rightly or wrongly, that REALLY does matter to a great many people when they are deciding which project to run.

PS: I would be happy to provide you with timings to back up these figures

Why? (asked in all seriousness)

Presumably the GPU app advances the project much quicker so has to pay the going rate to attract GPU owners to crunch them. By my rough reckoning, the new WU are paying approx double what GPUGrid is paying but less than half of what Collatz pays.

Thanks Eric - I have quite a few of the original WU to work my way through but can do this now that I know what is happening. If it looks like I'll miss the deadline, I'll abort some of them.

Thanks for fixing this so quickly

Thank you

Yes, confirms that multiple WU were running on a single GPU rather than one per GPU

@lakewik which command did you use to see processes running on each GPU please?

Yes, it does seem to take a whole CPU core to keep each GPU WU busy

All sorted now. Thanks Eric.

If it sounds a little mercenary, the points are the only thing we get for all the money spent on hardware and electricity. Oh wait, make that points plus a warm furry feeling that we are helping to advance science.

Okay ta - maybe it is just taking a while. Nothing has updated yet in fact Formula Boinc, Boincstats and even my new badge on project site all seem to be 24hrs behind

Are points from the GPU app exported please Eric?

Anyone know what's going on at Formula Boinc please? They don't seem to be including points from the new GPU app :-(

Not getting anything with "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (4095MB) driver: 418.43 OpenCL: 1.2" on Ubuntu 18.10 either

Are there definitely WU available?

Not getting any WU for GTX1080 on Linux Mint 19 : "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (4095MB) driver: 390.11 OpenCL: 1.2"

Perhaps the driver is too old?

Ditto on Ubuntu 18.10 - same hardware, same driver
