Long running wu_Qsqrt421_DS1x5 units - how long to let them run?

Posted 16 Apr 2016 by Vik Post: I've noticed the same situation for two work units, due on 10 April. For the first, the "Time Remaining" column has stayed at either 1 second remaining or 0 seconds remaining for about three days, and the Elapsed time column is now over 4 days. For teh second the "Time Remaining" column has remained at around 20 seconds for today, with over two days elapsed. |

Posted 23 Jun 2015 by Vik Post: Question: Project says it is running but it does not transmit data back to Home. I've been running Number Fields for several months now and have had no problems sending or receiving data, up to now. I now have three tasks running, but they do not show any "Remaining" time, and one has 20 hours of "elapsed" time with a percentage complete of 37%. I have tried resetting everything and nothing works. I hate to Abort these, because my newer projects are doing the same thing, because the Project could use the data crunching, and because the new tasks may wind up doing the same thing. I'm running Windows and this is one of three projects I have. Any suggestions from the geniuses out there??? Thanks, Vik |
