The Decics search over Q(i) has now progressed to the highest discriminant level. It is now targetting those fields with discriminant having 2^29 as a factor. This final portion of the search will be the most challenging yet.

We couldn't have reached this milestone without our volunteers. Thanks to all of you!

And for those who are interested, the intermediate results have been uploaded. The link is on the main page.

Does this mean the project will then be shut down or is there further work to be done?

Although obviously Eric could pull the plug at any time.

That's really odd, I could have sworn I responded to this a few days ago.

Anyways, there is tons more work to be done after the current search. There are still 6 other subfields for the current search over {2,5}. After that we have many other combinations of prime pairs to do, and then the triplets.

And then there's also the other app...
