We have decided to implement a badge system similar to other projects. I estimate it will take a couple weeks before it's fully working. It will be based on total credits, so it will include all credits earned since project inception.

We haven't actually decided yet, but probably something like what you suggest. I think we will also have some higher levels, similar to yoyo, like 10m/100m.

The badges have been implemented. The code changes turned out to be quite easy, it was coming up with a meaningful theme that was hard. In the end we settled on a generic theme similar to other projects.

At one point we considered a karate belt coloring scheme, but the belt icons were rather dull looking and many people are not familiar with the belt rankings, so they would not be very meaningful to people (For example, people may see someone with a brown belt and think he's contributed crap, but in reality brown is one level below black.)

If we eventually come up with a cool theme, we could always swap out the icons, leaving the credit levels the same.

Anyways, the code changes appear to be working from my end. But please let me know if you notice any discrepancies.
