Hi, I've been testing out this project for a while on a 4090 and it seems credits are handed out at a pace 20x slower than e.g. amicable numbers. I'm new to BOINC and wonder if it is common to get an order magnitude different RAC between projects? I'm also trying to get some gridcoin for the work and there it might not matter I guess since the payout is more related to the share of total computation you can grab.

Not usually.
However Amicable Numbers choose to completely ignore the actual definition of the Cobblestone (the unit used for Credit at BOINC), and they payout an obscenely ridiculous amount of Credit for doing very little actual work.

If all you're after is Credits, then Amicable Numbers is the project for you.
If your interest is actually in the work you are doing, then pick a project that meets that interest and use the RAC at that project to compare your system with others in that project to see how well it is or isn't performing.
