About half of my machines are reporting uploading issues. The log entries read like this:

"NumberFields@home | Temporarily failed upload of wu_sf3....: transient HTTP error

NumberFields@home | Backing off 00:03:06 on upload of wu_sf3_DS-11x271_Grp357044of614400_0_0

Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site

Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down."

Is it only me?

I had that all day (starting about 07:00 UTC): the "transient HTTP error" in question was a server timeout, according to the http_debug log.

I had the same timeout error when attempting to access this website, but when this site came back to life again (about an hour and a half ago), the uploads resumed too. Worth giving them a prod with the Transfers::Retry Now button.

I'm not sure what the problem was with the server, but I sent an email to IT this morning about it. The fact we can now access the message boards tells me they must have fixed it. I will be able to test the uploading when I get home later.
