https://boinc.berkeley.edu/dev/forum_thread.php?id=10347 for the story so far. But basically it looks like I'm a victim, so to speak, of applications being compiled only for more recent versions of OS X. Does this seem likely? Any possibility it might ever change, or should I not bother and remove NumberFields?

TIA :-)

Sorry for the late response - I thought I was subscribed to the Questions message board, but apparently not.

Yes, the NumberFields apps were built to run on Mountain Lion (10.8) or newer. Unfortunately, it's just too much work to build the apps on the older versions of Mac OS X.
