Hi, I am doing a few short "bounded" tasks. Even thoug, the runntime for these tasks are much less, than the time remaining displayed, before the task is started, the time remaining does not decrease for the unstarted tasks, no matter how many i am calculating. Is this a boinc ,or a project thing? It does work with Prime Grid. |

BOINC. Projects using modern BOINC server software have transferred runtime estimation to APR calculations done on the server. I don't necessarily agree that this is a good thing, but that's the way it is. Projects with old-fashioned server software still use DCF. |

APR = Average Processing Rate DCF = Duration Correction Factor Try Runtime Estimation - it's very closely related to the CreditNew we were looking at yesterday. |
